Little Bird On The Moon story
Once upon a time, there was a little bird named Luna who lived on the moon. Luna was not like any other bird; she was special. She had shiny white feathers and sparkling eyes that glimmered like the stars in the night sky. Luna loved her home on the moon, but she always wondered what it would be like to visit the Earth below.
One day, while Luna was perched on a crater, she saw a shooting star streak across the sky. Luna had an idea. She would catch the shooting star and ride it down to Earth. So, Luna fluttered her wings and took off into the sky, chasing the shooting star.
The shooting star was fast, and Luna had to fly faster than she ever had before to catch up to it. As she got closer, Luna could feel the warmth of the star's tail on her feathers. She stretched out her wings and leaped onto the shooting star's tail.
The shooting star soared through the sky, and Luna held on tightly, feeling the wind rushing past her. Suddenly, she saw the Earth below her. It was beautiful, with rolling hills, deep valleys, and vast oceans. Luna had never seen anything like it.
The shooting star brought Luna down to Earth, gently depositing her on a tree branch. Luna was amazed by everything around her, from the chirping birds to the rustling leaves. She explored the world, meeting new creatures and making friends.
But Luna knew that she couldn't stay on Earth forever. She missed her home on the moon and her family and friends there. So, she set out on another adventure, this time to find her way back to the moon.
Luna searched far and wide, asking every creature she met if they knew the way to the moon. Finally, a wise old owl told her the secret. She would have to climb to the top of the tallest tree and leap off, soaring high into the sky. And that's exactly what Luna did.
Luna climbed the tallest tree she could find and perched on a high branch. She flapped her wings and jumped off, soaring higher and higher into the sky. She flew past clouds and stars until she saw her home, the moon.
Luna landed softly on the moon's surface, surrounded by her family and friends. They were so happy to see her again and hear about all of her adventures on Earth. From that day on, Luna knew that she could explore the world and have amazing adventures, but she would always have a home on the moon.
